Support Our Mission

Your support, whether through memberships, donations to our annual fund, or corporate partnerships provide vital funding for youth education programs, exhibitions, art conservation, community initiatives, art and history programs, youth and adult art classes, and ensures that DMFAH remains open to the public every week to keep art and culture accessible for generations to come.

Make or Dedicate a Donation

To continue preserving local history and promoting fine arts, you can make a one-time or recurring donation.

Please note if you wish to dedicate your donation in memory of, in honor of, or to a specific event.

Give to Annual Fund

Your gift to the Annual Fund ensures that DMFAH remains open on a weekly basis. Beyond keeping our doors open, the Annual Fund supports every aspect of the museum’s mission. Every donation, regardless of its size, is an investment in education, creativity, and community enrichment. With your support, we can continue to ensure that art and culture remain accessible to everyone in the Dan River Region.

Become a Corporate Partner

The Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History invites your business to join our Corporate Partnerships Program. By becoming a Corporate Partner, your business can support our mission and offer your staff and clients meaningful local cultural experiences, as well as exclusive access to the museum’s exhibits, programs, events, and classes. Corporate partners enjoy a range of customizable packages designed to meet your unique business needs while fostering the region’s art, history, and culture.

Donation of Art or Artifacts

We are grateful for the community’s continued interest in preserving and sharing the history of our region. Many of the items offered to the museum are meaningful and appreciated, and we value the trust placed in us.

To ensure proper care, documentation, and legal stewardship of all materials, we kindly ask that you do not drop off or mail artifacts to the museum without prior approval.

All potential donations must go through a formal review process. The museum’s Collections Committee evaluates each submission to determine whether it aligns with our mission, collecting scope, and available resources for long-term care and preservation. Because of this, we are unable to accept unsolicited items delivered in person or by mail.

This process helps us ensure that all accepted items can be properly cared for, documented, and preserved for future generations.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding and your interest in supporting the museum’s mission. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
