Mandolins and Magnolias
Plan now for the cool fun in the dog days of Summer!
An old fashioned southern barbeque on the grounds of the historic Sutherlin Mansion.
Bring a lawn chair and join your friends for great barbeque and cool summertime beverages. Enjoy live bluegrass music by Andy Martin and the Carolina Roustabouts, a "Magnificent Mutts" dog show, and a raffle for fabulous prizes. There will be family and childrens activities featuring face painting and Victorian games such as hoops, sack races, badminton, and croquet.
Saturday, August 18 from 4:30 to 7:30 pm.
Tickets are $20 per person for adults.
Children 7 to 12 will be admitted for $10 per child.
Children 6 and under will be admitted for free.
Mandolins and Magnolias is an annual Museum Fundraiser.
Have fun while helping us continue to bring outstanding exhibitions and educational programs to the citizens of the Dan River Region.
